Our Little Bunny's First Easter

Izzy, your first Easter was spent at home. Everyone came to our house! Right when you woke up with showed you what the Easter bunny brought. You can't wait to swim in your whale splash pool and use your towel this summer. 

Then we were off to early church. You were so good and made everyone around us laugh. Tingie and Grandpa Bob bought you your cute shoes and dress. You were a hit!

Everyone wanted to spend your first Easter with you! Uncle Doug and Aunt Sara came over to watch your egg hunt and watch the Master's.

You spent your first egg hunt with your daddy in your stroller. We thought each year you could always hunt eggs with your dad. A little father/daughter tradition of sorts.

This was the only family photo we took all day! It happens to be one of my favorites.

Would it be Easter without delicious Gigi cupcakes? I think not...

Papa and Nana, Brett, Dianne, Carter, Cole, Tingie and Bob, and Doug and Sara all came over to say "Hoppy Easter!"

We hope your first Easter was so special. We had plenty of yummy food, lots of laughs, and spent lots of time with our sweet little bunny! Happy first Easter Izzy J.

8 Months Old

Izzy, you are a PURE delight. We love spending time with our baby bear. You couldn't be a sweeter baby. The best part is, anywhere we take you...you smile! Everyone stops to ask all about you. Then you smile really big. You make everyones day brighter!

We can't believe you are 8 months old! You are still wearing size 3 diapers. You are 18 pounds and wearing size 6-12 month clothes.  You are fitting perfectly into 9 month clothes. You love dresses and hats. You still adore your Sophie giraffe, but your horse Charlie is giving her a close run. 

You eat 6 oz at a time. You really like peaches, sweet potatoes, and squash. You eat cereal twice a day and take 2 long naps. One in the morning and one later in the afternoon. You like your splashy baths and go to bed between 7:00 and 8:00 p.m. Then we don't see your smiley face until 7:00 a.m. You wake up each morning like clock work.

You really enjoy your furry pal Bernie, say "da da" all day, have mentioned "ma ma" a few times, you laugh, play, and have started to shake your head no recently. Your favorite song continues to be "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star," you love to rock, swing outside, and stroller rides!

We couldn't love you more. We continue to look forward to each day with you...our baby Bear!
